My Medicare Ohio Privacy Policy

At My Medicare Ohio, we deeply respect your privacy and are fully committed to safeguarding the information you share with us. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information that is gathered at this website

The only personal information we collect while you’re on our website is information you voluntarily provide when submitting a form to request assistance with Medicare.  This may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Your name
  • Zip code
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Email address
  • Phone number

We do not ask for sensitive identifiers such as your Social Security number or Medicare claim number on our website.

We do not sell, rent, nor trade your personal information to ANYONE, including (but not limited to) lead vendors, data brokers, licensed agents, or unrelated third parties.

Use of information

The information you share with us is used solely to respond to your inquiries and assist you in finding a Medicare expert. Your data is accessible only to authorized individuals within our agency who are directly involved in helping you.

Phone calls from our team may be monitored or recorded for training and quality assurance.

Browser Cookies

Similar to most Websites, we utilize “cookies”, which are records stored on your computer’s hard drive by your browser.  Cookies allow us to recognize people and optimize their experience on the Website by remembering their preferences and behavior and measuring site performance.  The majority of browsers recognize cookies by design but allow you to stop them.  We advise that you keep cookies “turned on” so that we are able to provide you a user-friendly online experience on this Website.  You can occasionally get Cookies from companies marketing on our behalf.  We do not manage these Cookies, and these Cookies are not subject to our Cookie policy.

In some cases, we may work with trusted service providers to help us deliver targeted advertising. This involves sharing limited user data in a hashed and salted format using industry-standard encryption methods. This process ensures the data is obscured and unreadable, while still allowing advertising platforms to recognize returning visitors or show relevant ads based on previous site activity.

We in no way apply or install spyware on your computer, nor do we utilize spyware to recover information from your computer.

We do not sell your personal information to ANYONE.  However, under certain privacy laws (like the California Consumer Privacy Act, or CCPA), this type of data sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a “share” of personal information.
